O Musée Yves Saind Laurent, é já um cartão de visita da cidade. “Marraquexe ensinou-me a cor. Antes de Marraquexe tudo era negro”, escreveu um dia o designer de moda que que comprou uma casa de férias em 1966, na capital de Marrocos. Com morada no deslumbrante Jardin Majorelle o museu desenhado pelos arquitectos do Studio KO, guardam cerca cerca de mil peças de Yves Saint Laurent.
The Musée Yves Saind Laurent, is already a business card of the city. “Marrakesh taught me the color. O Le Jardin é uma das experiências mais feéricas da Medina. Localizado dentro de um edifício do século XVI maravilhosamente renovado, a porta despretensiosa abre-se num exuberante jardim onde passeiam tartarugas gigantes.
Le Jardin is one of the Medina’s most fairytale experiences. Located within a beautifully renovated 16th century building, the unpretentious door opens into a lush garden where giant turtles roam.
O Palais Bahia é um palácio do século XIX considerado uma das obras-primas da arquitectura marroquina, um dos principais monumentos do património cultural do país e um dos principais locais de turismo em Marrocos. Aconselho que faça a visita guiada.

Apenas cinco minutos a pé da mundialmente famosa praça Djemaa o El-Fenn e do movimentado labirinto de ruas que compõem o Souk. O projecto de Vanessa Branson e Howell James é um hotel com um dos ambientes mais criativos e estimulantes da cidade. Aconselho também para almoço ou para beber um chá.

O Palais Rhoul é assim das moradas mais feéricas de Marrocos. A uns minutos da cidade, o hotel é tão bonito que não dá nem vontade de sair. Senão ficar a dormir nos quartos deslumbrantes forrados a antiguidades que circundam a piscina ou nas tendas do jardim, é obrigatório para um jantar ou um chá de fim de tarde.
The Palais Rhou is thus the most fairytale dwellings in Morocco. A few minutes from the city, the hotel is so beautiful that you do not even want to leave. Other than sleeping in the stunning rooms lined with antiques surrounding the pool or in the garden tents, it is a must for dinner or late afternoon tea.
Outras moradas a não perder, o Bô Zin, o Jad Mahal, o Le Foundouk (marque no terraço superior), o Dar Yacout, o Terrace des Épices, (também para almoço), o Lotus Club, o Comptoir Darna, o Café Argana (fica no meio da Medina e é famoso pelo gelado de canela), o La Famile, o Kosybar, e o Azar. Já um pouco mais fora do centro, não deixe de visitar o Fellah-Hotel.
Other addresses not to be missed are the Bô Zin, Jad Mahal, Le Foundouk (check on the upper terrace), Dar Yacout, Terrace des Épices (also for lunch), Lotus Club, Comptoir Darna, Café Argana (it sits in the middle of the Medina and is famous for cinnamon ice cream), La Famile, Kosybar, and Azar. Already a little more out of the center, be sure to visit the Fellah-Hotel.
