O Comoba Lisboa abriu no numero 101 da Rua de São Paulo em frente ao ascensor da Bica e desde que abriu portas e porque fica entre a minha casa e o Second Home Lisboa, onde trabalho, tenho estado a experimentar a carta quase todos os dias. O espaço é lindíssimo e se a atmosfera me transporta para uma vibração que namora entre LA e a Escandinávia, a pulsação bate forte em numa rua onde os eléctricos movimentam o cenário.
Comoba Lisboa opened at number 101 of Rua de São Paulo in front of the elevator of Bica and since it opened doors and because it is between my house and Second Home Lisboa, where I work, I have been experiencing the letter almost every day. The space is beautiful and if the atmosphere transports me to a vibration that dates between LA and Scandinavia, the pulse beat hard in a street where the trams move the scene.
A carta não apregoa os legumes que são cortados da terra de madrugada, nem os ovos postos pelas galinha nessa manhã, mas talvez nem precise porque os sabores são muito reais e falam por si. A panqueca de Matcha é um poema delicioso, e os bolos (sempre tudo orgânico e sem glúten) e as bolas energéticas são divinais. Nas bebidas os cafés nascem na inconfundível La Marzocco, o leite se avelã, por exemplo, usado no Beetroot (leite de avelã com beterraba) é feito a partir de avelãs biológicas demolhadas, produzido no dia e colocadas em garrafas de vidro da casa.
The menu does not advertise the vegetables that are cut from the earth at dawn, nor the eggs laid by the chicken that morning, but perhaps not even because the flavors are very real and speak for themselves. Matcha’s pancake is a delicious poem, and the cakes (always organic and gluten-free) and energetic balls are divine. The coffees are born in the unmistakable La Marzocco, the hazelnut milk, for example, used in Beetroot (hazelnut milk with beets) is made from organic hazelnuts soaked, produced in the day and placed in glass bottles of the house.
Além da simpatia do Ruben e do Greg, dois dos sócios destaco a genialidade do Tomás, um dos colaboradores que está a estudar para ser Astronauta. Rigoroso como todos os ingredientes biológicos e orgânicos do Comoba, o Tomás representa bem, as histórias de excelência da equipa que foi toda escolhida a dedo. Assim como em toda a carta, dá-se primazia à genuinidade.
In addition to Ruben and Greg’s sympathy, two of the partners highlight the genius of Tomás, one of the collaborators who is studying to be an Astronaut. Strict as all of the organic and organic ingredients of Comoba, Tomás represents well, the stories of excellence of the team that was all handpicked. As in the whole letter, primacy is given to genuineness.
Lisboa está diferente e é inegável que entre a Madragoa e o Cais do Sodré está a demarcar-se uma zona com muitos dos cafés mais cool de Lisboa. Do Hello Kristof ao Pachamama, do Fauna e Flora ao Natural Crave, Lisboa nunca esteve tão revigorada e tão cheia de boa energia. Este é um café obrigatório. Não apenas por ser um dos mais bonitos da Lisboa do momento, tem o melhor café do mundo, um serviço extraordinário e uma exigência rara na integridade dos ingredientes que faz do Comoba Lisboa uma das minhas moradas de eleição na cidade nesta senda estival.

Lisbon is different and it is undeniable that between Madragoa and Cais do Sodré there is an area with many of Lisbon’s coolest cafes. From Hello Kristof to Pachamama, from Fauna e Flora to Natural Crave, Lisbon has never been so invigorated and so full of good energy. This is a must coffee. Not only because it is one of the most beautiful in Lisbon at the moment, it has the best coffee in the world, an extraordinary service and a rare requirement in the integrity of the ingredients that makes Comoba Lisboa one of my addresses of choice in the city on this summer trail.
